i-charging, a globally recognised innovator in advanced EV charging technologies, and Sisint, a leader in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), announce a strategic partnership to deliver a complete ecosystem for electric buses to the European market.
This collaboration builds on Sisint’s recent agreement with CheryBus Wanda to integrate its ITS technology into electric buses destined for Europe. By adding i-charging’s high-performance charging solutions to the portfolio, Sisint strengthens its offer, enabling transport operators to access a fully integrated ecosystem — from onboard ITS technology to state-of-the-art charging infrastructure.
“This new partnership is in line with our strategy of cooperation with industry leaders to offer to the global market our cutting-edge solutions. We are very excited with this collaboration, which expands our network of partners and delivers strong value to customers in the European bus segment,” said Pedro Silva, CEO of i-charging.
Sisint will equip all CheryBus Wanda vehicles sold in Europe with a complete package of onboard systems that cover the key needs of public transport operators. These include the electronic communication network that connects all bus components (CanBus/Bus FMS Interface), advanced ticketing solutions (validators, on-board units, Ethernet switch), passenger information and communication systems (SAEI with external antenna and digital displays), as well as safety technologies such as video surveillance and automatic fire extinguishing systems. By combining these intelligent transport systems with i-charging’s state-of-the-art charging infrastructure, Sisint is able to deliver to operators a fully integrated, turnkey solution for the deployment of electric bus fleets.
Ilidio Neves da Silva, Executive Board Member of Sisint, says that “Integrating i-charging’s advanced charging technology into our portfolio is a natural step to strengthen our vision of delivering complete solutions to public transport operators. By combining SISINT’s intelligent systems with i-charging’s robustness and innovation, we are creating an integrated ecosystem that ensures efficiency, reliability, and sustainability in electric mobility — not only in Portugal, but across Europe.”
i-charging was recently recognised by Frost & Sullivan as the 2025 Competitive Strategy Leader in the European EV Ultra-Fast and Megawatt Charging Industry and ranked as a market leader in the ABI Research “Commercial EV Charging Solution Suppliers Overall Ranking”. The company offers a full range of charging solutions tailored to heavy-duty vehicles, with robust certifications and proven performance across international markets.
